    Fair enough, it was not 2 mill... but given the value of $, it's not far away.

    Given that Pavlik AA would be HUGE, 1.2 mill EUR against no-name Dirrell is a lot of money. I can't tell you how much it was for Taylor, but it is a certain guess it was more - home with 16000+ people etc.

    Fighters lose the first time agasint guys, and fight rematches and win or/win by ko so what are you talking about lol... So what Pav beat Miranda the first time. Duran beat Leonard the first time...who won the rematch? Same with Norris-Brown... Boxing is full of doubts, we just don't like hearing them from PAv fans whose fighter had a chance to fight AA, and are basking in Dirrells hard earned DQ lol...

    Look at yourself lol... A blithering FT idiot lol... AA was the only rival to Pavlik at MW, and Pav's promoter was Arum so please...don't even try to blame AA for the fight not being made. To even utter that AA didn't want to fight Pav, Winky or Zuniga lol...Zuniga lol... is desperate, a disrespect, and a lie to all boxing fans. Abraham lost, and you have your glory. As many Pav's fans said...when PAv lost, Cal and AA's fans claimed victory, so you can now do the same lol... Boxing fans don't really hate Pav. We just don't like his fans who think that Pav has NO flaws when just about every fighter has flaws...

    Funny thread really. Nallege pretty much owned himself by starting it.

    Arthur did not lose to the linear middleweight champion of the world. A guy who is 36-1 with a 86.5% KO ratio, and suffered his only loss at the hands of an all time great.

    Arthur lost to a prospect who was 18-1, has a 65% KO ratio, and lost to the only world class opponent he ever faced.

    Come on guys, this is getting ridiculous.

    We would all be licking our fingers if PAV-AA was made, but it wasn't to be for this or another reason.

    I'm sure both guys wanted the fight, it would probably generate a lot of money too, but it didn't happen. Get over it... there are many other just as compelling fights...

    Hop got embarrassed...literally embarassed in front of the whole world by a 40+ old man he thought he could beat, and was exposed as having a shite trainer and no true boxing skills which is why Pav's resume in title fights is shite compared to the rest of the world champions... Who did Pav defend against again lol...

    Arthur lost to Dirrell because he is flat footed, slow as mud, has no answer for a good stiff jab, has poor stamina, didn't carry is power to 168, can't maintain a decent work rate, and generally just isn't a world class fighter.

    Pavlik lost to a 40 plus fighter who he didn't land a punch on because he's been fighting bum after bum after bum at mw. Pav has no lateral movement, no real power, and can only fight face first guys, or hand picked smaller men to enhance his shitty title defense resume. Pav is slow as hell, has no jab, no hook, can't body punch...and only has a Mr. left/right style that only Jermaine Taylor couldn't handle lol...
