I can see why your pissed of but how many bad decisions are we watching at the moment, drives you insane. Some of the judge's scorecards are just not adding up right...
The first fight was nothing short of a robbery for John, how did you score there second fight?

 

You are spot on imo especially when he would say "oh good shot by Smith" that confused me a bit aswell.

It's swings and roundabouts...I've been with Richie when we have praised Ricky Burns out of the building...also, if Richie is a 'poor commentator' then what about the other dozen on SKY? He's their bloody best by a country mile!!1

Was it Richie doing the commentary for Gavin Rees against Kotelnik when he had it level or something then Bunce laid into his scoring and commentary after the fight?

It wasn't that bad anyway and Richie is one of the best commentators out there. I think he had it to Smith by a point or the fight even as well so that was hardly biased.

You're never gonna agree with every commentator on every opinion they've got anyway. Would be pretty crap if you did.

 

The commentary was clearly biased- shockingly so! I was disappointed with the coverage, it definately had a sense of backing smithy just because he's young and unbeaten. The scoring and the commentary was awful but to be fair that smith can perform that well against simpson shows me that he will go on to be a big star, or at least very successful.

Sky seem to be all over the place at the moment- I understand that Adam smith is trying new ideas etc but the treatment of John the other night made me a bit sick- credit where credits due

The o'conner card, and the shite commentary took away from what was two great performances in the ring.

 

It's that old Amatuer click, they all stick together, When someone on these forums says anything negative about one of the ex Amatuer stars they all come on in defence of them. They don't have the respect for fighters who started late and did not have a big amatuer career, who are doing great in the pros. Just watch, look on the forums.

 

With all do respect you would say that Buncy, he is a very good friend of yours, I remember when you commented on a fighter who was not in great condition and said he should go to Richie woodhalls gym in Birmingham for proper training from a great trainer, you bigged him up proper, even though he has lost nearly all of his fighters. I do however think he is a very good commentator, though he did seem very biased towards Smith and whenever he asked about prospects, he does seem to mention ex amatuer stars as the prospects to watch.

 

I defintley think it's biased man that's about the 4th time .The board need to get a grip of there judges man .No wonder British boxers get laughed at hype jobs off good world boxing fans . Commentartor must have been watchnig English drama's on the oither channel man as well .F--k Stevie Bel comes to mind now man ( jinx ) . He'd have probably got the nod as well if Simpson didn't stop him lol.
