Roach is a bit overrated outside of Pac the other guys don't seem to work on there all around boxing. Garcia seems to teach his guys a lot more all around game. Margarito was already shot I don't care if Mickey train him he was going down against Pac!!!

 

Zbik beat Chavez IMO. Khan box well against Maidana but that last round show the lack of defense that is taught in the Roach camp.

 

No. That last round saw the lack of chin Khan has. There's nothing Roach can do about that.

But I do agree that Roach's fighters aren't as advanced in the defensive department. But, Garcia hasn't got much room to talk. Margarito and Rios are known for blocking punches with their face. He's nothing compared to Roach, so he really shouldn't be talking **** on him. Even if he is a little butt-hurt from the pasting Pacquiao gave his fighter.

 

You don't take fighters from losing to journeymen like Vanda and Presscot to being Manny Pacquiao in 2 years. Zbik is better than Vanda and Maidana is ALOT better than Presscot.

Roach is the best trainer in the sport today. Steward is the only one who comes close.

 

Margartio is a vet he not changing Garcia train him for what 2 fights. Rios is a guy that should work on defense for sure but being a brawler seems to work for him.

most of these guys haven't seen khan before roach, if they did they would praise roach for what he done with khan.

 

Rios actually has a pretty good defense for the style he fights in, he moves his head and always keeps a guard, he blocked all of rios' straight shots but had problems with the ones coming from different angles.

 

But that's where I think he'll hit a brick wall. A speedy fighter who can step to the sides and create angles, may give Rios his first defeat.

exactly. Most of these guys don't really follow boxing and haven't seen Chavez and Khan fight before they hooked up with Roach.

If you watch their pre-Roach fights and compare with today the improvement is obvious.

 

This makes me question your entire fairytale.

 

Roach is up there with Berestain.
