cutting carbs would be a big no, if you had to reduce your calorie intake id do so in protein not carbs, most of the hard work in training is done so your protein requirement is going to be lower anyway, if your glycogen levels (carbs) are low on fight day then it will effect stamina, however if you did have to restrict carbs before the weigh in you have enough time to replace them before fight time i have never done water loading but i know for the first day you actually up your salt intake and on the day before the weigh in you completely drop your sodium intake something like that
tbh i dont know what the benefits are for drinking distilled water, a salt bath like epson salts again im not sure exactly what it does scientifically but its another method to shed a few pounds, i think it rids the body of bad cells and makes you sweat from the osmosis effect between the salt in your body and in the bath, be careful though i advised a mate of mine on epson salts he normally used a different salt in his salt bath and it made him get the shits for the whole day, he wasnt a fighter just done it for health reasons so if it happened the day before the weigh in and that happened would be bad news dunno what hydrolight is?? yeah a natural laxative is good, id just up your fibre intake first and use the laxative if only necessary, only use quarter strenght too to start off yeah distilled water if you want, never really heard why its good so????? id advise you to just to cut as i said id be confident you will be fine, dont stress because it will affect you bad, make sure you got your sweat suit, monitor your weight everyday from now in, weight yourself 3 times a day, the most important times would be morning, after you train (without rehydrating), and after your main meal this will help you get to grips with exactly where your at, do a tester as well some day with your sweat suit on and skip or do cardio for 20 to 30 mins, weigh yourself before and after and see what you lose in water whats your weight now, whens the weigh in? for rehydration this is just as important if not more than the cut itself, id advise straight after the weigh in have an energy drink with electrolytes in it, basically carbs with its content all from simple sugars. You basically need to replace everything you lost......simple procedure really. Do not bring a load of food and eat **** loads after the weigh in, eat at regular short intervals of 30 to 60 mins, small bits of food, start off with mainly carbs to get your blood sugar level back up, after a few meals then you can throw in some protein and healthy fats, keep drinking water until your urine is back to clear, and then keep on going. buy yourself an energy supllement and try get one with electrolytes in them
That pic is enough to put someone off Maccas for a long time. Perhaps they should be forced to include it on their packaging like they do the cancer pics on cigarette packets
Please can you lynchburg lose some more weight because your obesity cracks me up FATBURGING SINCE AUG 2009
Okay... that is nearly correct. C+ :happy A little more sentence structure and you'll be there. A good all round effort though. Well done. :happy I found this for you too; http://www.wikihow.com/Lie Can you please pass it on to your girlfriend Beouche when you have finished :deal Lynchburg
Might be cutting too much weight mate. If your wanting to have an ongoing crack at MMA dropping near ten per cent bodyweight each fight is setting the bar really high. You mentioned that you am boxed so I am presuming you were in excellent shape to start. I'd ask myself how many fights a year my body could take with those demands - thinking I need to stay injury free, energetic and improving in training. Can you tell us the org's weight spread for the divisions?
For rehydrating after a water cut make sure you're getting some pedialyte (or similar) stuff - salts/electrolytes. I don't normally get back onto solids until a couple of hours. Get through a few sachets of pedialye/diaralyte and 3-4 litres of water (don't go mad, just drink it normallly) then I prepare a smoothie with water, oats, peanut butter, creatine, bananas and blueberries and have that to help get me replenish and prepare my stomach for solids. Small and regular meals of good carbs and protein. Don't be tempted to go crazy on crap, it will affect you the next day. Stay clean for one more day and then you can eat whatever you want after the fight. Lots of water.
