gbp is cashing in the ticket while it still has value.

canelo gets destroyed here and retires.

people just don't understand how limited this guy is. he is arturo gatti without a left hook, chin, stamina and weight issues.

canelo is an accident waiting to happen. everyone knows he has a limited boxing life...especially freddy roach.

That's why there is not a chance in hell Pac ever fights the kid. He don't fit the formula of being old as **** or coming of exposing losses.

Thats bs. Juan Diaz fought in Mexico and before Oscar embarrassed Chavez he was liked in Mexico. Its like sayin Donaire wouldnt be popular in the Philipines. Donaire born in the Philipines yet many dont consider him filipino, but filipino american. Look at Napoles and Bute. Both were popular in countries they werent born in. Ortiz vs Pacman could happen, but Canelo is much more popular there.

Well the fact is Nápoles represented México and had Mexican nationality and felt Mexican first, unlike Ortiz, who is 1st US American, so would be seen as such.

canelo is horrible. he could not hurt a 147 pound b-level hatton or a 40-year-old ndou.

he almost got ko'd by cotto, a career lightweight.

i would give odds that he has been severly hurt in training. no power and no chin equals no career.

he is fighting a european guy next weekend in mexico that is coming to fight but will have to ko canelo because the fight is taking place in his hometown of guadalajara.

it would not suprise me if the fix(take a fall to make canelo look good) is on.

then straight to pacman for the cashout payday he would never receive once he is exposed. this **** is like a hollywood movie.

its funnier than **** to see clueless ESB readers even mention canelo's name as a potential mexican superstar on the level of dlh.

this guy is easy money in his first real fight at 154.

not at all. canelos made me money on both the cotto fight and hatton fight. easy 15 percent return on your money in one night. if your still clueless, jut google up what marquez and roach have to say about canelo.

Reports that Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim offered Manny Pacquiao $65 million to fight Saul “Canelo” Alvarez are false, according to Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer, Alvarez’s promoter.

The Philippine Inquirer apparently was the first to report the purported offer.

“I have a nice relationship with the Slim people and I talked directly to Mr. Slim. It’s not true,” Schaefer said.

The source of the information was Illocos Sur Gov. Luis "Chavit" Singson, a longtime Pacquiao confidante, according to the Inquirer.

Pacquiao is scheduled to fight Juan Manuel Marquez on Nov. 12 in Las Vegas. Alvarez is set to face Ryan Rhodes on June 18 in Guadalajara, Mexico.
