Mexican fighters who speak english? JMM?

that's what I was going to ask. Although, from the recent sit down with Roach and Pac, it seemed like he understood what they were saying but that he only had a translater there to tell them what he was saying. So I think he might understand english somewhat but he can't really speak it. I don't know though.

 

They both still speak english better than Paul Williams.

 

Margarito and Angulo don't speak English.

 

Miguel Cotto speaks it well in my opinion, Pacquiao gets around but stutters or thinks too long.

 

It was very funny. He was like:

"He don't want to..." wait, no, that's wrong... "He don't wants to win..." yea, that's it! Nailed it!

 

The first time I heard Marquez speak English was when he visited the Philippines to challenge Pac.

 

Really? When was this? The first time I ever heard him speak English was during one of his earlier fights, I think a bit after the first fight with Pac, and he totally dismissed the spanish interview questions with brief empty answers and looked straight at the camera and pointed repeating "I want Manny Pacquiao."

I'm not sure why but in general conversation JMM sounds adorable speaking english. Yea, I said it.

Yes, he certainly speaks english better than Pacman and Cotto at this point but the Klits are fluent english speakers.

 

He was born in the US but raised in Tijuana. He understands it well, but doesn't quite have the confidence to speak English in front of a camera.
