    LOL.

Are people really comparing the cartels who run the country, have half the police force and military under pay, are run by Mexico's generals, businessmen, have revenue in the billions, etc. to some shitty prison gangs run by two time losers posturing as tough guys?

Actually you really have no idea what your talking about if you think there just jail birds posing as tough guys.. Pretty much control the majority of all criminal activity and Illegal $$$ flow going on in most of California and have a firm hand over the biggest gangs on the west coast, who all have to answer to them. Also have the hands in many other things, and reach beyond just Cali.

But hey this is a the Forum not the lounge what do you think of some of the other matches put up?

As long as you have the Mexican blood, you know you are already born with that warrior mentality/ability. There are however some who do get turned soft in the states, like Ortiz.

We've always had the more "Mexican than you" syndrome. Even in Mexico itself. States feud with other states, towns with other towns, families with other families. We are just always with that warrior mentality. Now when it comes to going against other nationalities we are united, and we are a numerous bunch.

I can tell a native born Mexican from a Chicano. A Chicano is usually wearin flannel or long white G's with dickies and Cortez's.

Native Mexicans are in cowboy hats and shoes and their kids are wearing skinny jeans and Beiber haircuts.

So I can see why they have to be tougher lol

very true. the "chicano" label is more of a movement that was used in the 60's to establish an identity similar to the word "brother."

most mexicans, especially wealthy mexicans, view the word with a condescending connotation as you would never hear this term in a fraccianamiento such as colonia del valle in monterrey where carlos slim helu has a home.

and yes, you would be well-advised not to refer to a zeta as a "chicano."

at best, you would look very stupid.

at worse, you could end up dead.

this coming from a person that actually lives in mexico and has spent considerable time in both sabino gordo and bar international, both zeta and cdg bars that have suffered multiple murders(sabino gordo 21 massacred).

    I do.

    * Different fighters, different styles, different nights.
    * Gamboa fight was two years ago.... Salido is aging and his last big fight was the kind of war that ages you even more.

I hope Im wrong, we will see next month, but it wouldnt surprise me at all at this point if Garcia is able to stop Salido.

Maybe Im looking too much into it, I hope Im wrong.

My wife is mexican and her opinion is that some of the things 'chicanos' or 'cholos' do, give mexicans a bad rep and i can understand what she means as far as the street cholos in their low-riders, gang banging etc but not all chicanos are like that ofcourse. Personally im chicano and ive always been cool with all the mexicans when in school/work and my wifes family is very cool with me but my dad was also chicano and he had a lot of problems with my moms family who are also mexican. So yeah theres a bit of a rivalry but everyones different. Now who is tougher? If you got mexican blood in you, u have pride, passion and a lot of fight in you... period.
