Mexicans vs Chicanos

The "HATE" towards Mexican-Americans has more to do with success. It's just like everything else in life. You will have people on different sides. For the most part, MOST Mexicans consider Mexican-Americans, MEXICAN, unless you were raised like a white dude and don't even represent. It's not always where you're born but HOW you are raised. The Mexican blood is in you regardless. I would be considered a citizen (Mexican), under Mexican government, just because BOTH of my parents are Mexican, even though I was born in US.

There is a soccer player who played for the Mexican National Team named Nery Castillo. He was born in Mexico but left at a young age and grew up in Uruguay, with his parents who are also from Uruguay. IMO, he is NOT Mexican. The dude even has a Uruguayan accent. You're going to tell me that he is more Mexican than a person who was born in US but raised by Mexican Parents, under Mexican culture? Especially if you are first generation. Many Mexican people feel the same way and questioned his call-up to the National Team. But when it's all said and done, I don't give a ****. It's up to him to represent. Some Mexicans are just going to hate. Not everyone gets treated like this. Just watch videos of Cain Velasquez, when he is training in Mexico. Cain's Spanish is not even that good but you see how people love him and the cheer Mexico, Mexico, Mexico!
