It's more because Mexicans are hard workers, strong willed, and tough fighters with a warrior "si se puede" mentality :deal
Mexico is always strong in boxing. But looking at some of those names. It's seems to have gotten weaker. A lot of those guys will lose there title in 2011. But probably see other mexicans holding titles. But I see the big names are gone or getting old.
That dude from UFC if you want to count that Lower weights are classes that always change in a month you could have all different champs from all around the world from Japan to Mexico in these lower weights.
Who the **** cares what its spelled. Your the idiot who keeps calling me racist just because i dont agree with the leg humping you guys do to Pac.
what a bull**** assumption. I have high respect for Mexico though. Majority of my fave fighters are Mexicans
Humberto Soto has tried to fight Pac many times and Pac chickens-out. Marquez also tried to fight Pac, and Pac chickened-out. Pacquiao is a coward.
This is all you can come up with??? a perverted reply???atsch no wonder, you know nothing about boxing. (youre on the wrong forum. This is a boxing forum, not a gay porn forum) and as far as the title, I already know Mexico has, continues and will always reign supreme. The only reason, Mexico is quiet about having a big name champion, is because Affirmitive Action is being given to steroid cheaters like Pac, Mosley, etc. whom are overrated. thats why Mexican champions are in obscurity, to give underacheivers like Pac, Mosley, etc. a chance at the "limelight". I only responded, cause morons think that they kept them from Pac, when the truth is Pac cowardly ducked Humberto Soto, Juan Diaz, and a 3rd Marquez fight.
Garfios definitely has a very good point here. A good measuring stick would be if for example Mexico had the same population as Cuba, PR or the USA. Since Mexico has about 60 plus million people ( 6 times more as Cuba and PR ) then of course they have to produce a lot more Champs. But this isn't enough to take away credit were credit is due because the Mexican fighters have a very big strong will to suceed ( probably way more than any other Countries ), and that desire to triumph is what makes them very good. For example, the Cuban fighters tend to be highly talented but very undisciplined ( Jorge Luis Gonzalez, Ledon, Garbey, Iribarren, Solis, JC Gomez ) while the Mexicans are really training and eating the gym the others are slacking. Also, another very notable factor is their great CHIN. Most of the Mexicans have a " built in " extra massive Chin and that's a very important ingredient to succeed. This is a big advantage as well... If Mexico was the same size as Cuba, PR and others it's very safe to say that they would be about the same as the others, but hey it's very hard to say that either way. I take my hat off to the many great Mexican Champs! Example: The Chinese have dominated table tennis ( ping pong ) for so long mainly because China is the biggest country on Earth and while Japan, Korea, Sweden, Germany for example have around 300 World Class players participating, China has 20,000! The other countries like Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Germany, Sweden and others can't catch up with China even though that they have excellent players, because the Chinese still dominate. But why? It's in the vast numbers... Is it safe to say that the Chinese dominate ping pong because they are so good or is it because they have 15 to 30 times the population of the rest of the ping pong Countries? Something to really think about! Sorry about the ping pong comment guys, that's the sport that I have always played. :good
Just trying to educate your middle school drop out brain, ****-for-brains. So when you're trying to apply for GED, you know how to spell some words. Of course, you wouldn't agree on anything psoitive that is said about Pac. When you hear someone say Pac is a good fighter, you'll reply with "Your a stupid Philllipino *******. Pac is overrated. Phillippinos only have Pac. Mexico rules!" No one is forcing you to be a Pacquiao fan, dumbass. It's just a fact that you hate Pac because of his success against Mexican boxers. Like Pac said himself, it's nothing personal. It just so happened that there were Mexican boxers in his weight divisions. You hate Pac. Just admit it, ****head.
