I watched him fight this weekend he is 27-0-1 with 20 KO's. He looked very impressive when he K.O.'d someone who had never been knocked out. He is fast, explosive, smart, and skilled. the first thing I look for when talking about these prospects is handspeed. I don't see it in this guy. It can be improved but its not easy.

I saw it in his fight last night...on Sky Mexico. This kid is going up. He showed some improvement. He was very hard to hit. At 18 he has not fought the best competition at his weight but considering he turned pro at 15. I believe that in about a year this kid will be holding a world title. he is the wbc latino welterweight title holder. He beat Raul Pinzon of Colombia In Miami (who fought and lost to Cosme Rivera for the title) he beat the home town fighter in his home (technically) He beat Larry Mosley Defeated previously unbeaten prospects Euri Gonzalez 17-1-1- with 12 ko's
He is fast, the thing is that he is tired in the first video and he is still very green in that video, last night he showed a lot of improvement in his defense, he used some kind similar to floyd shoulder defense, it was very hard to hit, he had hanspeed, everything it was a great performance...
Agreed. He could be okay, and he has age on his side, but he'll need to be technically perfect to overcome his lack of natural tools.
This kid is just 18 and he has shown his willingness to be better...I wonder when he will ge this US Cable debut...he is promoted by Maldonado....so I wonder when and against who...as long as GBP does not get him
Sorry dont see it at all. His defense is really leaky and he shows a lack of technical boxing skill. He is a KO waiting to happen as soon as he moves up.

He has a lot to learn but you rarely see someone at his age do what he has done. I by no means will call him the next ______. This kid has talent he needs to move up soon in quality opposition.
