All I am saying is do you negotiate from a position of strength or one of weakness? Jr claims he is a Promoter which is just another farce .

I don't understand this, firstly what does that have to do with the choice of MGM? Secondly he is a promotor of sorts he promotes himself, he promote Jesse Vergas.

Ofcourse he is not Top Rank or Golden Boy

hey id gladly be a promoter like mayweather farce or not id be in a big ass mansion and of had a very lucrative career
i wasnt talking about negotiations im just sticking to the fact that all big fights are just better in vegas to me theres just a certain vibe that suits it

I'm about done with this issue. This is the lowest point and the most extreme grasp of straws I've seen Arum and these Pac fans do.
it's really sad to watch and I feel bad for them

im sure you are talking about the pac-floyd when it happens.
my thing is, they can fight whereever they want. its their money.

arum's contention i believe is that mayweather's selection of venue can not happen without negotiating first, without knowing other interested parties' proposal first.

team pac relented about the venue and date in the past, i hope they will again this time.

    crossing fingers.

    They weren't a problem for
    Oscar/Floyd
    Oscar/Pac
    Tyson/Holyfield
    Oscar/Hopkins
    Mayweather/Mosley
    Pac/Mosley

They weren't a problem for 5/7 of Pac's last fights
:conf I don't get it. Both teams even agreed to fight there before in March 2010

if you're Arum or Floyd, you would want to maximize how much money you can make from this fight.

You then have to consider that Jerry Jones has upped the site fee offer from 27mil. to 30million dollars.

Arum tried Pacquiao in the 70 000 stadium and he came short of expectations. He had 40 something thousand at the Margarito fight and i believe Mayweather still did better with his 10 k at MGM. Same thing with Clottey.

For the 4th time now, slow and clear, THIS FIGHT AIN'T HAPPENING OUTSIDE OF VEGAS REGARDLESS OF CIRCUMSTANCE, PERIOD. The Casinos won't have it, no reason to even act like it's a discussion.

With a name like Jesse Vergas i doubt he will need any help being promoted. :good
