    Just read this: :deal

Undefeated WBO junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley had this to say regarding his upcoming fight against Marcos Maidana: "I was going to fight [Luis] Abregu, which would have been a dangerous fight. But I guess since he destroyed Victor Cayo, who was a mover, they feel he can deal with anybody."

"My people (Gary Shaw and Cameron Dunkin) were on the horn with Maidana's people after he stopped Cayo, and I want nothing but the best and Maidana is a great fight. He established himself with a great win over Victor Cayo.

"Maidana, after I beat him, Khan will have nowhere to run. then after I beat Khan, Devon Alexander will probably be my following match.

This is a much better way to make your HBO debut. Should be a very good fight. :happy

I thought he was facing the no name Welterweight - but I also thought that was a stupid fight to take.

This is better if it actually happens. On top of that - the report looks like it came straight from Bradely. Guess we'll have to play the waiting game to see what happens.

Brilliant post. Ridiculous but completely true.

I hope this happens. I think Bradley has the skills to take a UD against Maidana. Khan will be over the moon if this fight is made. His plan of putting off Maidana until his is no longer his mandatory looks like it will work. Smart move by his management team.

This is great news if it's true... No need for Bradley to fight Abregu at welter.... 140 Is where the action is...

Bradley should get a UD but Madaina can catch Bradley with something...

Maidana might K.O. I'm not sold on Bradley's chin as he went down from Kendall Holt.
