    ...an then Wlad Klitschko.

Say he's been approached by Seth Mitchell, but he's not interested.

Arreola at 236lbs stops the washed-up Old Grant early.

I'll take Arreola by KO within 3 rounds.

Then it sounds like Michael Grant wants to get brutally thrashed and KOed again.

Don't think Arreola is someone Grant should be gunning for.
With his age and suspect whiskers I certainly favour Cris by T/KO.

Grant has what 2, maybe 3 years left.

I am a Grant fan. Did I just say that out loud.:lol: I think he deserves a big payday, and could get one.

But, he should learn from Arreola and Rahman here. Do fight other contenders to bring up your ring ranking. Fight the Maddalones and Mitchells and Gaverns.

IMO, if Grant is gonna get this payday, he'll have to avenge his loss to Adamek. Arreola won't get it done.

He should take a quick fight. I mean within the next 4 weeks. Make an impression in the fight. Brutal KO or lopside UD. McBride or Maddalone, or quitana or Gavern. Just make it happen inside the world top 50.

Take another one a month or so after Adamek and Vitali are done. Start calling out Adamek. Follow the Klitschko KO of Adamek with a more impressive KO of him, and get the title shot. Simple. He could be fighting a Klitschko by March of 2012.

Don't give me the Adamek will kill Grant garbage either. Grant's chin is more heart and fear than anything. He knows Adamek can't one punch KO him now, and he could take it to him, early, and IMO beat him worse than Vitali can. Styles make fights. The rematch would clearly favor Grant.

Arreola is an even worse bum than he was before he lost weight. less mass, less punching power, less convidence.. glass fists.. still a stupid windmill etc
Grant could very well beat him imo

I guess the first fight where Adamek won virtually every round doesn´t persuade you much. He had 12 rounds to determine that Adamek won´t hurt him yet he could not do much. Its actually very interesting how such a small guy like Adamek can dominate a giant like Grant. The difference in proportions were comical in the ring to the extent that it didn´t even look right or fair. Yet Adamek won easily and had a much better showing than Haye against featherfisted Valuev.

Adamek got caught with a single shot in one round and that was his only mistake in the fight. He got cocky and started to stand around a bit too much. Credit to Adamek for not even going down or panicking then coming back to dominate the next round. He didn´t even need to hold or smother Grant. Get over it. Adamek outclassed Grant thoroughly and a rematch is totally unwarranted.

Maybe. I don´t think we´ve seen enough of today´s version of Grant yet to make that determination. Im pretty sure I like Arreola based on chin, volume and overall toughness.

I haven't seen Grant in a while but he seems like he might have something left. Koing Fields doesn't mean much but I had read he didn't look too bad against Adamek, if true than he'll give Arreola some good rounds. This is a perfect fight for Arreola before, if he does, face Wlad. Grant has some name value, has Wlad-like size, should give Arreola some work, and shouldn't pull the upset. This fight could end up being semi-entertaining as well. Arreola by late stoppage.

I think it could be a good fight, and it wouldn't surprise me if Grant won.
