Not sure Ajom deserved that..but also wasn't a domination by Pappoe or anything. Can't really say I watched it closely enough to call it a robbery.

 

Ismael Tetteh vs. Delali Meledzi, 8 rounds @ super middleweight

 

How freaking late are they going to push this card??

 

I really wish Tetteh would stop going by "The Black Roy Jones Jr." (not least of all because, wtf, dude's already black..?? ) ...but next to Clown-shoes Meledzi anybody would look RJJesque.

 

Meledzi comes in with a 12-0 (10) record, and significant advantages in height and reach over Tetteh, a 17-year veteran coming off a 20-month layoff and sporting a 34-15-2 (20) record...but just has no clue how to box tall. His style is as ugly as his face.

 

Another one improbably going long.

This is, again, for the once-more vacant Ghanaian super featherweight title. It would be Ansah's first defense but for his two-bout jump up to lightweight. This is his third contest for the strap (he drew with Abraham Osei Bonsu in 2013) - always while vacant.
