Good one. Didn't see much really of Bentt, apart from Morrison and Hide. Think I'll pick Bentt by early ko. But Till man shocks him by dropping him early.
This one is really difficult to choose a winner. Very good match-up. Neither took a punch very well, so not really solid on picking either guy in this one, but I'll go with Tillman by decision. If Tillman sticks to boxing, and avoids too many toe-to-toe exchanges, I see him piling up points while Bentt would be ineffective in following him around the ring. 'Course, if Tillman gets careless, could be a Tommy Morrison situation all over again. Tillman UD.
Tillman was an excellent amateur and did “ ok” as a professional cruiserweight. He really has no heavyweight resume to speak of in the pros. Bentt wasn’t anything special but at least he had the Morrison win. I’m favoring Bentt
Same here. Tillman just seemed frail at heavyweight. Frail is not a good thing to be when trading punches with a heavyweight.
My intial thought was it would definitely be a KO one way or the other, with Bentt likely winning. Tillman could box though, and tracking down guys who moved wasn't really Bentt's forte. Tillman was a little fragile at Heavyweight, but Bentt could be too (see Jerry Jones fight). Just about anything is possible in a Tillman-Bentt match-up......could end in a KO either way, or Tillman by a decision. Having trouble picturing Bentt outpointing Tillman though. I'll stick with Tillman boxing his way to a decision win. I literally wouldn't bet a dime on this one though.
I do lean towards Bentt in this one. Tillman had the habit to fight the other man's fight when he could've simply tried to outbox them, and he left himself open a decent bit. When I watched his performance against Cooper I was very unimpressed at who was only two years removed from achieving gold at the Olympics. I think I might've just been disappointed that a dude with a cool name didn't do much for himself. Lol
