Michael Bisping " I dont give a s*** who fans are cheering for

Because he rides his bike and jabs his way to boring decisions most of the time. Also, people don't like him because they realize that he is an overhyped Brit in a long line of overhyped Brits with Fragile Glass Jaws.

 

I like Bisping. I'm cheering for Chael in this one, but I'm always happy to see Bisping in the cage. He always turns up in shape, he fights hard every time out, he's an honest, hardworking sort of guy, and he's one of the best interviews in the game.

Jesus Christ, way to crowbar 'The UFC pays so handsomely' into the conversation. He knows what side his bread is buttered.

 

To be fair, the UFC has sure as hell made him a far richer man than he ever realistically expected to be. And he's not even a champion. If any company put as much money in my pocket over 5 years as they have in his, and gave me the platform to earn all sorts of cash on the side and down the road as well, I'd be singing their praises too. :good

And he knows who supplies the bread, the butter and the knife to spread it. Bisping is a dick but he's not stupid.

I really think he knows the limits of his ability and he knows how gifted he's been in his career.

 

He's living his dream. He knows that he took some big risks in his life and he is lucky to have come up trumps despite not being the most naturally talented guy. And he's grateful for it and determined to make the most of it while he can. I respect that attitude. Fair play to the man. Everything he has, he had the work ethic and the balls to reach for it and grab it. :good

Yup. He hasn't been 'given' anything. His contract will be something he and his management will have negotiated for. The fact he is the hghest profile UK fighter would have been used as leverage in order to bring in more money from the UK to the UFC. I think him taking this fight at short notice will actually be benificial for Bisping. He always strikes me as the kind of guy that beats himslef in his own mind before he goes into the big fights. Rashad, Wandy and Hendo were examples of a guy in there who seemed to have his sights set on surviving rather than winning. He is a pressure fighter and that **** don't work backing up, see the Hendo fight for proof.

I think he once won a tinpot title in the UK on short notice? The less time he has to think about it the better.

 

I couldnt believe it when i seen Bisping had won over 10-15fights in ufc...Yet never a title shot....Seen worse credentials get title shots atleast..

 

The only problem is that non of those 10-15 wins where against any top 10 expect maybe 1 or 2

 

Because every time he builds up some momentum and takes a step up in competition he gets beat.

 

I reckon he's one of those guys who just repeatedly lost the last fight before his title shot.

In the UFC he's only ever lost to Wanderlei, Henderson and Rashad. All huge names, all guys who you can catapult into a title shot by beating. Unfortunately for him, he's going to lose another title eliminator on the weekend. :yep
