I agree with a lot you've said but Sonnen wasn't better then Jake Shields, Shields is so under rated because didnt like his style people found him boring but he is top 3or5 at least Welterweight ever

You are probably more familiar with Shields than I am. Who did he beat? Was he better before he got to UFC? I know he was a too level sub guy.

Whether Silva would have beaten GSP is immaterial because he was bigger than him by a fair margin. It's like saying Toney would beat Duran so therefore Toney's a higher rated fighter. That's totally ridiculous. I'm Canadian and l'm a huge GSP fan and yes l think a prime Silva would beat a prime GSP but as far as their ranking all time it's always been close but GSP gave himself a huge boast after last night's fight. But Anderson in his prime was insanely good, as was Fedor and Jones. For pure domination l think they all edge GSP but if you look at their opponents from top to bottom GSP fought in the best division in the UFC hands down. He just never blew anyone out the way Anderson and Jones did. And GSP is the only one of these fighters to be a two division champ.

Hughes is the second best welter ever.
Penn is the greatest lightweight ever, and one of the best ever.
Condit is top 5 all time at welter.
Hendricks was STEAMROLLING people when Georges beat him.
    Shields was a beast.

Silva did some AMAZING stuff in the octagon. But people put too much emphasis on that, and not on his resume.

Chael, who isn't anywhere NEAR GSP in terms of skill, absolutely OWNED Silva for the best part of 21 minutes out of 25.

Don't be quick to write off GSP.

The same Woodley that got his head elbowed off by Nate M? Sure.

Dan was one of the most inconsistent guys ever. He'd lose to Jake Shields yet beat Fedor!

Shields beat Hendo. Chael never beat anyone as good as that.

You sound like you are still seething from Anderson shattering himself on Weidmans shins & fists! Never mind, console yourself with the fact that he was outed as an enhanced cheat who's reputation is in tatters whilst an ancient small GSP whooped the dude he lost too!!!

    GSP>Silva. Deal with it.

Factor in ALL Silva's losses too... It's not even up for debate anymore.

Didn't make me a difference at that point. I had long grown tired of his in cage ****ery, and antics. I thought the Weidman KO was poetic justice for goofing off one too many times. I actually called the KO a few moments before it happened when I was watching the fight with family and friends. The broken leg in the rematch was just more karma, and a reminder that opponents, and the sport should always be respected.

GSP, Silva, Fedor are clear choices for the top 3.

Jones doesn't belong. He effectively lost to Cormier in the rematch, had he secured his legacy before that comeback, probably yes, but not enough to crack the top 3.

So how/why does the F.U.C even manage to screw up something this simple?

Here is my ring walk music. " Durrrr play this"(something entirely different)

Incompetence or some legal copyright infringement B.S. are the only two options here. Now these trained monkeys, most of which get payed in peanuts cannot even pick their own ring walk music. Dana probably refused to pay the royalty or takes it out of the fighters urses at double the cost.

Perhaps the fighters will just start singing(probably rapping) their own entrance music. LOL Maybe just do rip offs like WWE and WCW did.

We are all just a bunch of stupid marks for following MMA and boxing anyway.

Any reason you changed your mind, im kind of interested why UTF thinks her chin is china also? She has never been stopped before or come close in MMA and had never been stopped in her 30 plus fights kickboxing career.

I saw her fight sober and do not consider that Rose ? to be a powerful striker just crisp. Yet everything she landed seemed to bother Yoanna and she even got dropped with a left then finished with a right. jabs even had her skittish and elicited a negative effect where she scampered and hopped around.

In retrospect yoanna never fought any real good strikers and seemed to get exposed(a word I really do not like to use) when she faced a serviceable one.

I think she survived in those other striking sports she did before MMA due to the lack of participation not unlike how that Gina Cerrano became a Muay Thai champ hardly any women did that sport so they rose to the top of a weak talent pool.

I have no axe to grind against Yoanna, I am also Polish and wanted her to win but have to be honest.
