Source BoxRec Michael Bolling 12-0-0 will fight 21yr old Southpaw Thomas Oosthuizen 11-0-0 in South Africa on 19th June 2010 for the vacant IBO Super Middle title. Great chance for Bolling to make his mark.
great opportunity for him and willing to travel to south africa to take on an undefeated south african, he deserves alot of credit for that. good luck to him
Great news for Bolling. He has looked real sharp in his past few fights. Kudos for having a go over there too. Good luck to him
I think I first heard of Bolling a few months ago. Soon he might be a world champ LOL IBO - "we send our belts to you!" terms and conditions: customers must be australian residents and have a current australian drivers licence. Good luck to Bolling, hope he can bag a win.
Bolling was fighting 6 rounders three fights ago. I've heard when a fighter applies for registeration, his papers are returned with an IBO businees card stapled to it. Any truth to that? I thought staples weren't allowed to be sent in the mail.... I'm sure you are working on a way to replace Wlad with Mirovic, Pawsey for Chad and Mundraby for Seda. You pretty much have all the other divisions covered.
Aside from the cynicism about IBO belts this looks like a really good match up between two promising young boxers. The South Africans have big wraps on their man. Oosthuizen's father Charles was a South African champion at Light Middle and Middleweight.
Good on Bolling for having a crack. Something Aussie fighters were certainly renowned for in days gone by. Someone's going to lose their zero here.
My mate is over in the states (Dodging flying debris & falling oil soaked ducks) & he collects Tshirts, so what's wrong with collecting belts? Git enough of them & they sing "I've been everywhere man" at your roast.:happy
:fireIts a shame that all you Aussie will go empty handed with your champion Micheal Bolling, when he steps into the ring with the current IBO Light heavyweight and Super middleweight youth champion Thomas Tommy-Gun Oosthuizen, owe and have I mentioned hes also the current WBA Pan Africa Super middleweight Title holder. So Sorry Mite no this time.
Be proud mate.. Toweel defended so well against Carruthers.. :rofl ...and Carruthers was the easy option.. Both Elley Bennet and Bobby Sinn would have taken the title just as convincingly, although a rematch against either would have been avoided..
