I saw this on boxrec. To be honest he's got nothing left to prove, and Deakin should not trouble him.

His punch resistance had gone completely against harrison. not sure if time out of the ring will help that, but his skills never really looked dimished in either the second chi fight or the harrison fight, just couldnt take anything coming back.

Thankfully he isn't being matched too tough.

All depends at what sort of level he's gonna be fighting at.

He was pretty much "done" when he retired years ago.

Is he struggling with finances or something ?
He should stay retired...a peak Brodie would have beaten Harrison...

:think Hmm i dont think so. Brodie ALWAYS marked up VERY easily and was easily led into a war. Harrison wasnt the most talented buy in the world but he was a bruiser who could out muslce most guys at his weight. He routinely entered the ring up at welter. As for Brodie he was a career bantam. Brodie would have the power nor style to trouble Harrison even in his prime.

    Sad news...

I always liked Brodie and had hoped that he would enjoy his retirement. He can only ruin his career memories by fighting again.

For me one of the worst boxing decisions ever was when he got robbed by Jorrin..... that decision robbed Mikey of a few decent paydays... he was a great operator at Bantam.... above that weight with his time away from the ring.. I wonder if it is the right choice... I hope he gets what he wants and a few paydyas to go with it..:good

Can only imagine he needs the money. Defo has the class to earn a few quid without worry. and if he can make feather he could still handle the likes of Derry Mathews and others. Hope he just gets the paydays he needs and gets the **** out. unhurt.
