heard he was making a comeback, fighting under Ricky Hattons promotional company .. any truth ? or "bloke in a pub" rumours ?
Yep, he was down to fight a couple of months ago at a small show that got cancelled. The last interview I read with him he seemed serious about the comeback.
Well it was more postponed that cancelled(think boxrec even have a date for him to fight). They pulled out last time as they didn't feel they had enough information about the other fighter(some African) and did't want to go into the fight 'blind'. From what I remember though that fighter had fought in the UK and not been very successful. Looks like Brodie's camp are going to be ultra cautious with him, and they may need to be to have any hint of success at this stage of his career.
Yeah i be interetsed in seeing it as well because i heard a lot of stories of how it ended and i heard Brodie never let it go mentally.
yeah i heard naz ironed brodie out inside 1 round....naz had to put up with alot of racial tension from brodies fans.
This is terrible news. Brodie was a quality fighter, hope he doesn't cop a beating. He must need the cash.
think his wife took him to the cleaners....man is skint....good little fighter just fell short at world level.
He was robbed against Jorrin in my opinion. The way he slugged it with Chi in their first fight was amazing. One of the best fights to happen on these shores.
Def. robbed against Jorrin. I'd be very surprised if he has anthing left at this stage, when he retired he looked like he'd gone to the well too many times.
Yeah your right but the story is that the bell rang Brodie was having a problem with the headguard and Naz stormed across ring and sparked him....that's one of many accusations i have heard.
Yep agreed that Jorrin was a disgrace Larios was robbed by him in the fight after then Larios gave him a beating to take the strap that Jorrin never deserved. Yet Micheal thinks he was robbed more in the In Jin Chi fight which i disagree i think Chi won the first and the second Micheal says he gave up mentally because he knew he would be robbed again.
The first Chi fight was close but my take on the 2nd fight (and I may be wide of the mark here) was that, at that stage of their careers, the first fight had taken a lot less out Chi than it had out of Brodie and it really showed in the rematch.
