Gregory, Scottish boxing is there to be insulted, as is any other (bar mexican)

 

scotland has done well for its self in boxing standards IMO.

no love for the Puert Ricans or the Panamanians they had some great fighters

Dont think Scottish boxing is great and I do think there is a lot of overated fighters but I dont think any more than what England has or the Americas.

Never a huge Buchanan fan but then again i'm 24 so maybe I never 'got it'. But surely you could see why for me, when I think of him I think of his alcoholsm, his burning hatred of Duran and him wanting to fight at the age of 63 instead of some of his achievements in the ring ????

 

Dan you got to watch more Buchanan and you will be converted he is amazing.

 

Not really, but at least you admit there were seeds of truth in your post! That just tells me you should probably research Ken Buchanan if you are going to comment instead of fixating on what has happened post-retirement.

 

Nah not really that interested pal to be quite honest. A lot of what he's done since kind of puts me off the man.

Fair enough. It's probably just not that wise to comment on his actual career if you havn't seen much of the guy.

He was one the classiest technicians Britain has produced IMO.
