Miller is not an easy fight for anyone.

He's the kind of heavyweight that Wilder has always avoided: strong chin, hard puncher, in his prime.

Styles make fights, and Miller is a piece of cake for AJ.

Miller doesn`t punch as hard as AJ or Wilder and his hands are slower, but he does keep coming forwards which could be a problem for come forward fights like Wilder or AJ however anyone with any kind of footspeed would toy with Miller his lack of fundamentals would be completely exposed by Fury or Usyk, he`s awful.

I think Wilder-Fury II will sell more tickets than Joshua-Miller II in the U.S.

Wilder-Fury II will certainly make more money on PPV than Joshua-Miller (since it's not on PPV in the U.S.)

And I'd argue Wilder-Fury II will sell more PPVs in the UK than Joshua-Miller. Both fights will air in the middle of the night in the UK (4 a.m. or so).

Wilder-Fury II will likely take place about two or three weeks before Joshua-Miller, so UK fans will have to decide which one to order (if they don't want to buy both), and it's harder to ignore the first PPV and wait for the second. (Take it from someone who has been buying PPVs since the late 1980s.)

It's going to be rough claiming AJ is the "A-Side" over either Wilder or Fury if Joshua literally goes head-to-head with Wilder and Fury and the Joshua-Miller fight doesn't come out significantly more profitable.

They both feature a heavyweight title fight featuring a big-name UK fighter and a U.S. power-punching heavyweight. Let's see which promotion does best.

I think Hearn is about to get pantsed.

The problem is the official Gate number wasn't released by the state commission. That's not normal.

On the flip side I never heard the promoters claim a gate number. If the gate was huge they would of been shouting it from the rooftops.

The rematch will do a much better paid attendance.

You are comparing apples with oranges.

    1. Wilder v Fury is a rematch of a fight. A fight which was on PPV.

    2. Their is history with Wilder v Fury

    3. Miller maybe American but to try and say his status is anywhere close to Wilder's is simply ridiculous.

    4. I'm still waiting for the UK PPV numbers for Wilder v Fury 1 let alone Wilder v Fury 2. The fact that Frank Warren has been silent on these numbers says a lot.

I'm not comparing apples to oranges. I'm comparing the two heavyweight title fights that are going to happen about two weeks apart this summer.

People have been saying for years nobody knows who Wilder is. Everybody has been saying for years Fury isn't as big a name as Joshua. People have been saying for years Joshua is the biggest star in the sport.

Okay. Let's see who sells the most tickets and who sells the most PPVs when they're both fighting in the same state basically two weeks apart. The top two UK heavyweights vs arguably the top two US heavyweights.

Time to find out if Anthony Joshua is the biggest star in the sport or just a big fish in a small domestic pond.

If we knew how many ppv's Wilder v Fury did at 4am in the UK then we could compare what AJ v Miller does. However we don't have that number.

I can't see Wilder Fury selling as much any AJ fight. 14k at the staples centre is poor. Fury couldnt even sell tickets in the MEN arena against Wlad. You would think a lot of AJ fans will be going to to New york to the fight (a ticket to New York is cheaper than a train journey in the UK). Plus AJ PPV numbers is superior regularly than Fury by a vast amount. I reckon there will be more than 14k for the AJ miller fight at MSG.

    Who cares what "they did?"

We'll compare "what they DO" in terms of ticket sales and PPVs when they both fight in the same state and the same time zone a few weeks apart in late May/early June.

That's an apples to apples comparison.

We'll find out who sells the most tickets and PPVs in late May/early June when Joshua-Miller and Wilder-Fury square off in NY a couple weeks apart.

The top two UK heavys vs the top two US heavys.

Lol one says that when they have no number to work with.

Fury v Wilder was on in the early hours in the UK on PPV. AJ v Miller will be on in early hours on PPV in the UK.

Now I'll still ask how one will get a comparison when BT and Frank Warren are not releasing PPV numbers.

Canelo v GGG BT sports PPV numbers? No idea
Wilder v Fury BT sports PPV numbers? No idea
Frampton vs Warrington BT sports PPV numbers? No idea.

Wilder v Fury 2 BT sports PPV numbers? Who the **** knows as history suggests we won't get told.

Hopefully we will get an official Gate number from the commission for Wilder v Fury 2 as its standard with PPV fights. The secrecy from the first fight is just lame.
