    Just rewatching Carbajal's career set and watched his pro debut. Fought a 1-0 (1 KO) 18 year old Will Grigsby. Grigsby went on to have two title reigns and beat another champion only to have the belt stripped after testing positive for marijuana. He also lost a UD to a old Ricardo Lopez. His talent even as a youngster was obvious in a fight where he hurt Carbajal in the third round. I wish more often good fights where made like this for prospects, was a nice little scrap. Also very interestingly saw Carbajal's tendancy to fight out of trouble when his footwork would have been enough to get out of there.

    Should have put this in before

    It pisses me of when I buy these career sets and most of the fights get put on youtube soon after. Anyway not the best of fights but interesting to see two young future champions.

    Carbajal fought very good competition considering the division he was in. One of my favourites.

    I much preferred Carbajal early in his career when he was more complete offensively and used a nice heavy jab to set things up.

    When do you think his peak ended, addie?.

    :lol::rofl

    I know how you feel, it happens to me every fkkn time!

    Recently, there was a batch of fights I had been putting off getting for the longest time. Secretly, I was hoping that they'd get put up on Youtube and then I wouldn't have to buy them. I finally bit the bullet and bought them, and a week later two of them appeared on Youtube. :patsch:gsg:cus

    :lol:That's why I just wait for Youtube. I have a good few DVD's, but I'm pretty sure most of the fights on them are up for all to see now. It's just a matter of time these days.

    Thats a good question. When I said rewatching, I haven't actually seen it all to the full. I believe I watched up to the first Gonzalez fight and then started watching Morales's career set and apparently forgot about this one. I've heard he was outboxed in the second Gonzalez fight, which is surprising to me and perhaps indicates a loss in skill (unless Gonzalez is a better boxer than I believed). What does evreyone else think?

    As I am planning on watching all of Carbajals fights in the next few days I might do a review of the career set if anyone would be interested? Often I would have liked ESB members to write down reviews of DVD career sets recomending some. Of course evreyone has there own personal tastes but I think it would be interesting and a good read

    That was Carbajal at his very best.Really nice jab setting his combinations up.

    he did a better job on Kittikassem than Arbachakov did, albeit against a worse version.

    Kittikassem is so drained in that fight, he just cant do anything.

    Carbajal is superb in it though
