One of my favorite little men of the past 30 some odd years, the certified warrior that is Michael Carbajal. Four of these fights were previously unavailable and his FOTY against Gonzalez here is a HD copy, if you'd like to give one of the best fights of that era a high quality rewatch with fresh eyes.

    Gr8 stuff!
Always a joy hanging out with Carbajal at the IBHOF. For a little dude, he can get a bit roudy when he's tipsy at Grazi's pub.

Yeah, I got hooked on him back in those days when I had cable...when I had a tv:risas3:...(of course I had a tv..I had cable!)...ok, let me start over......way back in those Friday night, ESPN Top Rank Boxing watching nights, I would look forward to the appearances of Michael Carbajal...I liked the little hoodlum...I cheered when he blasted out Kittekasem....and he had my respect BIG TIME when he came roaring back in that 7th round and put Gonzales to sleep. He kinda lost it after that, but he was always one of my favorites in that era he fought in.

I don't know if I'd say he lost it... if he did, he certainly found it again. Ever see his heroic come back in his final career bout against a young Jorge Arce, or is that getting too new for you?

First little dude to get that big purse. I enjoyed him from amateur ranks up to pros. While I know I look nothing like Celistino Cabalero.... at Grazis , a few fans tried to get autographs from Michael while trying to get back to the hotel...he joked and say "Man I'm cool, I got my bodyguard Cabalerro. Let's roll ese!"

I guess U had to have been there. :aplastao: I didn't even know who Cabalerro was in 2010.. Man boxers are so cool to hang with.:beer-toast1:
