Ref probably gave the last round to Garrido.

Keeler is vastly improved since his loss to Doran. So this won't be a walk in the park for either man.

A "real" three star Michelin rated steakhouse will of course always beat a chain joint like Outback and Longhorn, but places like that (with their epic portions of sides for like $5, and enormous pitchers of watered-down beer for about the same) have always been a guilty pleasure of mine. :sisi1

Yeah, while Arias is another of the long recent list of very mediocre Cubans to get overhyped as serious elites...hype which may have momentarily seemed justified to some casual observers, but only because Magomedov was himself still thought a bit too much of. In reality he's just okay. The wide loss to DJ and draw with Gabe show his level.

edit: just had a glimmer of self-doubt and double-checked, he was born in the U.S. and fought in the amateurs under the American flag, but he is 2nd-generation Cuban-American. So I was half-right.

    Round 1 Keeler 10-8

Fight starts out scrapping, both men exchanging, Keeler puts him on his ass with a left hook, he gets back up, he's rocked. Keeler unloading. Pace slows. Hard right from Arias, Keeler takes it well. Keeler strafes him with a one two. Keeler sends him reeling into the corner from a combination.

10-7 Cool Hand Luke! (I'm calling that a second knockdown even if the ref didn't)

:nonono That should have been a wide loss to Gabe, no one scored it in his favor on the RBR, including myself.

    Round 1 Keeler 10-8
    Round 2 Arias 10-9, close

Keeler working well behind his jab right from Arias, Arias trying to muscle him to the ropes, Keeler still countering well off the ropes. Nice body work from Arias, Keeler stuns hi with a right. Low blow from Arias, ref warns him. Hard right from Arias. Keeler lands nice right late.
