It was just the ref scoring. Keeler took it with a 96-91 score.

I've always wondered how pro fighters managed to fight 12 rounds. 12 rounds are hard to fight at a decent level even vs a heavy bag. And you look at nowadays boxing and they fight last rounds like nothing. Where are the fights I used to watch where two top level fighters were gassed at round 9 or 10 and just fought for their lives with what was left in the tank? they were not so rare not may years ago. But now? everybody has super-mega-stamina, what a coincidence. Boxing today reminds me to old times cycling, sorry to say that, tbh, no pleasure at all in saying that.

Eh, kind of, but gym rats have always existed, long before modern PED cocktails. You look at someone like B-Hop, and he looks the way in the championship rounds of his fights that Hagler did in his two decades earlier..

It was in the League, I was one of only 9 that went with Keeler. And on Tapology, only 17% picked Keeler for the win. So it looks like it.

Well, guess you are right to some extent. Probably they are more professional now, it happens in football too, tbh. And in other sports. Well, maybe I'm just pesimisctic today. Let's enjoy the fights, and that's all :)

It seems like it would have lost a little bit of its luster, since in his next match he took an L against some guy named Lasha Gurgliani, in RUSSIA.
