    He's one of these guys that was great in the ams, but just didn't have the chin for the pro game. Mark Breland comes to mind.

    He didn't have the style to box in the pros either but the chin was definitely the main factor ruling him out of being a champion.

    Gill still pressing forward, easily outworking him. Defending quite well. Switching stances and Gill unphased. He's timing Mick with almost everything he throws. Mick lands a decent right, Gill takes it well. Gill trips and goes down. Mick landing an uppercut here and there. Gill then lands a monster right that rocks him again, he follows up with another. Mick going to the body. Uppercut from Gill.

    The stance switch helped Conlan turn the heat off for a while but can't see Conlan surviving long.

    Conlan's flashy head movement was great for the amateurs but he fails to realise how often these pros time his exaggerated dips with hooks and uppercuts.
