Michael Conlan vs. Terence John Doheny & Lee McGregor vs. Vincent Legrand RBR.

Couple of upsets possible here between Gorokhov and Doheny.

 

Lee McGregor (tonight) and Kash Farooq (next weekend) both fighting opponents rated OUTSIDE the top 100 fighters at bantamweight.

Lee McGregor is currently rated at 13 @ bantamweight

Kash Farooq is currently rated at 21 @ bantamweight

Both of their previous 2 opponents have been soft touches so this is not a good look for either fighter. Both talented, both are more than capable of taking on much better opposition right now.

I predict Lee McGregor to get an early KO over his vastly overmatched opponent in a fight that does nothing for McGregor's resume or experience.

I predict a tough night for Kash Farooq though, he has a hard punching young Mexican who may cause a lot of problems for Farooq's paper thin skin that just leaks every single fight. A close and very difficult night for Farooq.

 

Looks abit bare.

 

So this is PPV in the UK , on Fite TV which can only be viewed on a computer screen.. What happened to fighting on BT Sport. . What a joke.

 

Nobody on this card can attract a sizable audience on free to air TV let alone an unknown subscription service like fire.tv

 

Conlans last few fights did attract a good audience.

 

Where? In Ireland? Conland is boring as ****. Nobody would even pay $1 outside of Ireland to watch one of his fights.

 

Im Irish so i would lol. I have to say Conlan hasnt lived up to expectations sadly. Ireland is crying out for another world champ.

 

I think he sucks. And he was matched very, very carefully so far, in theory he should look impressive but he doesn't. Barely got past Baluta in his last fight. On a neutral ground he could have lost the Baluda fight. He's also not young anymore for a Super Bantamweight. It's now or never. Doheny is a decent opponent though. But it's time for him to step it up. He's basically wasting his prime fighting low level guys for paper belts.

 

I was at least half wrong.

 

McCrory was beating that Russian guy up good man. Glad they stopped it. His nose was absolutely done.
