Really hope this boy goes onto win a world title.

He is everything a boxer should be, talented, charismatic, fantastic fan-base.

    Would represent Ireland fantastically.

yes, giving the world the fingers at the Olympics games is representing his country brilliantly.

Chanting terrorist and bigoted songs is also representing his country brilliantly.

Conlon is a great boxer yes, a great advertisement for anything apart from thuggery..... No

He's not good enough as a pro, seen nothing to convince me he can win a world title. He's just a ticket seller whereas Shakur Stevenson is an elite prospect.

Not a fan of his. Been very underwhelmed by his performances, hugely overrated IMO.

Got to agree. I like to think of myself as a man if he people and a **** the system type of guy so ive tried to like Conlan as he represents all of this but I just think his actual ability is vastly overrated.

He is just food for Stevenson down the line.

I'm not saying he won't win a world title. However top level operators will out box him.

Both him and Barnes - lots of unjustified hype. Conlan is a good fighter and I think he’ll be comfortable at world level in that he’s never going to be blown away. But would lose to the truly elite fighters.

Not an elite fighter and as a person - simply a pile of Chihuahua poo.

I’ve been critical of course Mick Conlan myself. But I wouldn’t rush to judgement too fast. Lee Selby and Josh Warrington made it to world titles. They were often unimpressive early in their careers. He might just muddle through in the end.

Conlan hasn't been tested yet. When he does he will go up through the gears. Hes barely been hit a handful of times in his professional career. Wont have to worry about Stevenson he wont make the weight much longer and he'll be in jail if he doesn't mind himself.

A chance to relive the atmosphere Mick generates in Belfast. Not many can match this. Great guy. Great taste in music too...

This. He'll be managed to a couple of titles, and he's certainly capable of it. But I can't ever see him being the man in the division
