How would this titanic tilt have gone down in the mid 80's? Record profits for the Medellin Cartel for sure.
Michael could record a unanimous decision over Tony, due to his faster hands and busier workrate, if he's not too coked up.
Not shire about mideighties, but I think Tubbs cleverness would out ox Dokes, any version of him, but if it's a Dokes that is still a very marketable upcoming guy or champ, king would see to it that Mike gets the decision, like with Young, and the two questionable fights with Weaver
I don't know.. Dokes struggled with slick boxers like Ossie Ocasio in his first meeting with him, and even had some trouble decisioning the very crude tex cobb from what others have said on here over the years... I think Tubbs has a got a good chance of getting a close decision, but their talent levels are too close to draw any clad iron conclusions.
If Dokes has a chance of ending the fight, it would have to be early, and there's a slim chance he might pull it off.Tubbs may have superior boxing ability, but Dokes would probably want it more, therein lies the difference.
Mike "Cokes" Dokes be all "Raaaaaaw i'm gonna give it to ya, like cocaine straight from Bolivia!!" Tony "Treble Line" Tubbs retorts - :rasta You see I'm a dynamite So all you got to do is hold me tight Because I'm out a sight, you know 'Cause I'm a dynamite But everytime I walk in the rain Man, o man, I feel a pain, I feel a burning pain Keep on burning in my bloody brain I've got cocaine runnin' around my brain I've got cocaine runnin' around my brain I want you to dig me soul brother and soul sister I want you hold me tight because I'm a dynamite - yeah I've got cocaine runnin' around my brain No matter where I treat my guest You see they always like my kitchen best 'Cause I've cocaine runnin' around my brain cocaine runnin' around my brain, yea Foreman Hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooook!:smoke
Depends. Both are close in age, but Dokes peaked earlier in 1982 and 1983... Tubbs didn't hit his peak until 1985 when he came in lean at 229 pounds to out-box a lethargic Page for the WBA title.. Later in '86, Tubbs went back to his old ways of being a slob and blew his title to Tim Spoon and weighing a soft and jiggly 244 pounds.... MR.BILL
Tubbs was faster and better than Dokes in my opinion. Both were very good fighters at their respective best I just think Tubbs was a little slicker quicker and better.
