If Joey had being there for Marciano v Walcott 1, then old Jersey would have retained the title within minutes!
Marciano wouldn't have had a chance to rise before Curtis was screaming "" It's Over ""!!!

    Dokes and Gardner are stationary.
Cocckell, for the butt of as many jokes as he is, puts both their mobility to shame.

Rocky wastes him. Maybe 8 rounds, max.

Dokes' fame is based upon a woefully-premature stoppage of Mike Weaver (a greater fighter than him). Weaver came back and was robbed again. Then Dokes got smacked silly by Coetzee.

To me it's as simple as this: a top ten ATG versus a flash in the pan who washed up even earlier than Bowe.

Dokes did not like the Weaver body punishment and was forced to trade in their rematch. Rocky does a 2 handed body assault and dokes is stopped during the 2nd half of the bout while taking a terrible beating.

Satterfield had a Holyfield like chin.

I actually quite like Dokes and frankly I have him doing quite well, at least initially. He really had amazing handspeed and combination punching. Whether he can keep it up down the stretch in the face of Marciano's assault is debatable. I'd have to guess a late Marciano stoppage, gun to the head. I don't think Dokes has proved he had the sort of toughness to hang with a guy like Rocky in the deep rounds.

I was a fairly enthused Dokes fan until the second Weaver fight (which I had him solidly losing). After that he just kept seeming lamer and lamer...

but that's just me, all respect for your likes my friend.

Michael would stop Rocky in 11 rounds if he is in shape and his mind is right. It would be a cut stoppage, because Michael's power was lacking.
