    Farmer gets the 5th on my card, he picked his shots in close very well, but he needs to create more distance at times. Fonesca though losing, is still very dangerous in close.

    Fonseca is ripping some left hooks across the right temple of Farmer, and gunning in right hands on the rib cage with his thumb pointed upward as though shifting up a gear stick. Farmer is taking over now, scoring left uppercuts on the chin after nudging into Fonseca's chest with his right glove to push him back. Farmer ducking and rising with smooth counters, driving Fonseca into a corner. Fonseca lands some body shots fighting off the ropes.

    Does anyone else realize how extremely rare it is for a top tier fighter to fight 2 months after his last bout? That’s some golden age stuff right there.

    Farmer conserved some enrgy in the 7th, kept his distance well but lowered his punch output.

    Fonseca is throwing 1-2s but either wide of the mark or at least partially blocked with Farmer raising a neutralizing fist up from the waist just in time. Farmer working right hooks off the jab all over Fonseca's head and lancing him with lefts downstairs. Farmer now exhibits some very slick defense, luring Fonseca into the ropes and then slipping a full minute's worth of his offense with just bends and pivots.
