    What? That makes zero sense. There's a huge gulf between favoring Canelo to beat Mikey (who's realistically maybe back end of top FORTY at super middle) and saying he's among the best in the division without us ever having seen how well he wears that extra weight. Eight pounds IS a lot. Weight classes exist for a reason. Can a great middleweight jump up and beat a mediocre SMW? Well, yeah, of course, we're probably about to see that. Can he beat an elite SMW? No. There are no elite SMW's right now, arguably, so it becomes an interesting question of "how much does his disadvantage moving up get mitigated by how short the champs and top rated guys at super middle fall of being p4p elite?"

    This is more nuanced than you seem to believe. Too high-minded a concept maybe, stay in your lane.
