Charlo, Jacobs, Ramirez, C. Smith and maybe Benavidez would all be closely contested matches IMO. Canelo would probably not come out unscathed.

Yea those would all probably turn out interesting at least, probably minus the Benavidez fight, but who knows.

I also think that if Saul goes back to 160 and Hurd moves up, that would a solid risk as well.

Well we can assume anyone at middleweight is the top, I just don't think beating Fielding the way he did with ease means he is one of the best at 168.. He won the title. That is what they wanted. They sort of used a title for business like Ray did to match Tommy Hearns. Not the best for boxing, but good for Canelo and Oscar.

Hard to really say. Canelo is not the Mike Tyson of the supermiddleweights.

Somehow this was an insult on the sport. It reminds me of Ray vs. Lalonde. I am just upset Rocky didn't put up a better fight and knock out Canelo. In 1988 I was not exactly rooting for Lalonde, but when he knocked down Ray in round 4 I was not upset.

To be honest, it was not normal. I mean, once you get caught to the liver, you are done, the next time you get caught, you go to the ground too.

I had never seen (or at least I dont remember now) a guy getting caught like that and resisting such amount of hits to the liver again without falling to the ground again. He went down twice because of getting his liver caught, and he continued taking shots there, another and another and another... every one of them hard precise well placed shots to the same place, the liver. I was like.... WTF!!!! really? is he faking the body shots and going to the ground on purpose? no, he wasnt, it was obvious there was no faking there, but I had to rewatch the hits several times because I just couldnt believe rocky's liver/pain resistance. He's not like any other fighter regarding this.

Mmmm pernellsweetpea.... do you know who Ben Baez is? He's the guy sweetpea fought after winning the belt to Pineda.

You have 6792 comments about boxing, how is it possible that you think that canelo's fight was an insult to the sport? I will tell you, you know it isnt, and you dont think it is, it's your hate who thinks it is. No problem, dude, we all get mind controlled by our hate every now and then... #metoobrother

The WBA having more than one world title is an insult.
