This is...real. Like, actually. This is no drill, nor as originally thought an exhibition. It's a sanctioned pro bout. It counts on their records. 8x2" rounds (although neither of them has a vagina that I'm aware of...the main event of the card is a women's match, though...) scheduled at heavyweight. It will be their 59th and 11th professional contest, respectively. I'm shook.
Never thought we would see the day that Tyson decides to fight a YouTuber in a professional bout that lasts as long as a female boxing match. Let's just hope they try and treat it as an actual fight and not an exhibition where they take it easy on each other.
Give him a break....a 60 yr old man can last as long as a fit 25 yr old woman; think about it. His handicap is a woman's limit.
A 60 year old man shouldn't be fighting professionally in the first place. But I guess the money was just too good to pass up. It makes sense that they cut the rounds a minute shorter to accommodate for him.
Love Mike but he was already shot to pieces in 2004 when he lost to Williams and McBride - that was 20 years ago… Unfortunately he’s going to get seriously hurt
Rumor here in Dallas was the Paul brothers were going to tag team him. They'd have needed it back in 1986. Maybe Mike and RJJ shouod tag team Jake?
Judge A scores the bout for Mike Tyson Judge B scores the bout for Jake Paul Judge C scores this fight a DRAW. THANKS FOR COMING FOLKS! DON'T FORGET THE MERCH TABLES ON YOUR WAY OUT!!
Tyson might see the final bell if he doesn't throw any punches, but if he does throw any punches he'll get hurt and knocked out or gas out and quit. It's going to be ugly and no way I'll watch. Hate this stuff
Yeah but I would think he still have that early power to give him a posibility of upset. Althought his ability to take a punch has probably gone down hill as much as Hollyfields
It is. In women's boxing. It's been used in men's as well, albeit very rarely. There are all kinds of exceptions and deviations to standard rules within pro boxing. Odd-numbered rounds in reality TV shows, half-round scoring in certain Latin American countries, etc.
