there’s nothing I’d love more than to see Tyson chin Paul, let’s hope it happens.

I hope that Tyson will put Paul to sleep, but everything seems to me that this is a staged fight, Tyson certainly knows what he needs to do, but his body cannot realize it.

Tyson looked better to my eyes in the training and "sparring" clips he posted training for the Jones exhibition. His legs look shaky and stiff (to be expected for a guy pushing 60). Four years plus injuries at this age is like you're aging ten.

Really hope he gets into range and lands the hardest punch he can muster right on Jake's chin, though. I'm positive his power is still unlike anything Jake has felt.

If it's a real fight, Paul is going to win by KO, if it's staged it's Paul decision or a generous draw. Tyson is 58 and should be nowhere near the ring nowadays.

Both are going to play the game and make it a SHOW FIGHT. Nothing more. I don't think either will put real intentions behind their work.

I couldn't imagine getting in the ring with a legend like Mike as a young fighter and realizing I can better him then execute on that. For what? If that does happen then it shows a horrible nature in that boy with an ego that will eat away at his soul.

Tyson is an old man. A brilliant fighter in his 20s which are decades ago now. He looked like he could barley walk to the ring against fellow old man Roy Jones.
For 60 seconds or so he might put something together but if Paul can stand upright for 3 rounds he just might win as much as it makes me want to vomit.

I originally thought Paul would beat Tyson for all of the wrong reasons. I’ve changed my opinion.

Paul can’t put on 30 pounds of weight and expect to drop 30 pounds back down to cruiserweight.

It’s like this in my opinion, Paul, jumping up and fighting at 230 pounds for weigh in tells me one thing, he’s either cashing out to lose to Tyson or hoping to beat Tyson and cash out against an Ngannou sort of opponent at heavyweight after a Tyson victory.

Tysons legs are gone, they have been for a long time. As much as I want him to send Jake to the shadow real I don't see it happening, he's just a little too old

In Tyson's last 5 professional bouts (McBride, Williams, Etienne, Lewis, Nielsen) he was able to go 5x3 min rounds on average. (15 minutes).

Tyson was able to go the distance in his exhibition bout against Jones Jr, which was a match that was scheduled for, and lasted 8x2 min rounds. Jones Jr and Tyson used 12oz gloves for this fight. (16 minutes)

Tyson's bout against Paul is scheduled for 8x2 min rounds, like the Jones Jr. Exhibition. Tyson and Paul will be using 14oz gloves for this fight. (16 minutes).

Jake Paul was able to go the distance against Tommy Fury in a cruiserweight bout that was scheduled for, and lasted 8x3 min rounds (24 minutes)

That being said, accounting for the age factor, ring rust but also his training, his commitment towards "finishing him (Paul)" I believe he goes the distance and possibly win by points, and I also believe he could score a knockdown or even a knockout in the first 4 rounds. In the next 2 rounds, I believe if Tyson is still aggressive it will be quite fair in terms of scoring but in the 7th and the 8th it could fall to Paul's favour. Tyson could go for broke but, that might work for Paul instead of him.

    My personal scorecard:
    [tyson - paul]
    R1: 10 - 9
    R2: 10 - 8 (medium possibility of Tyson knocking Paul down/out)
    R3: 10 - 8 (likely Possibility of Tyson knocking Paul down/out)
    R4: 10-9
[Tyson is unable to knock Paul out in the first half]
    R5: 10-9 OR 9-9
    R6: 10-9 OR 9-9
    R7: 9-10 OR 9-9
    R8: 9-10
(Tyson wins on points [or via 2nd-round or 3rd-round KO/TKO])

Overall, I believe Mike Tyson could go the distance if he is unable to knockout Jake Paul in the opening rounds. Paul can catch up in the closing rounds but it would be too late for him if he attempted to turn the tide. Unless if he somehow knocks Tyson out.

Original start time was 7pm for the event.
Now it's been pushed down to 4:30 (Dallas time).

How are working people going to get to the stadium by 4:30 especially during Friday rush hour which is BAD in that area.

Why so early? Senior Citizen Iron Mike needs to get to bed by 10pm? Competition ftom other sports? Not enough tickets sold?
