Mike is in a better state mentally in 2024 than he was in 2005. But yes, the body and age has its limits.

I hope Mike takes him out in the first, because his odds significantly decrease after that.

I don't know how to rate this fight. If Mike has anything left where he can take punches and give on the inside he will win, but could he be hit clean and his age just make him sit down? I don't know.. Jake Paul cannot take Mike's best punch. No way. It really is not a fight which should have been made. They set it up because Mike was a great fighter and Paul is questionable as how good he is or if he is a real professional. But being almost 60 for Mike? That is too old to fight anyone. If he gets hit clean it just does not do well for a man that age.. I hope both come out fine, but for the sport of boxing it is not a great thing. We need real fights. This fight shows us how far down boxing has gone.

If this were to be a real match using ten ounce gloves then I'd go for Paul by KO but they are using fourteen ounce gloves and this makes me think that it'll be a choreographed exhibition.

But if he can win in spectacular fashion, he could perhaps relay that into some other big payday in a rematch or against some other YouTuber or something of the sort. He does have incentive to win, especially if we are to believe he actually did bet on himself.

The whole thing makes me cringe.

The lack of transparency is awful.
Either it's an exhibition or it isn't, and if it is a choreographed setup, surely its disingenuous to take bets from people who believe it to be real.

I'd have no issue if Mike was getting in with someone of his era.

Paid by the round? Sounds like BS he's being paid because he's Mike Tyson and Jake Paul believes he can beat him at his present age. Never heard of a contract set up by the round.

I've watched the footage of Mike training for this fight; he's trained hard, his body looks incredible for his age, his punches still look forceful, he's taking it seriously, but I can tell he has about 2 minutes of cardio in him before he's gasping for air.

Jake is counting on surviving those 2 minutes and will spend the rest of the fight pop shotting someone with an AARP subscription.

Mike has a punchers chance really.

Unless it's fixed, I think Mike will get brutalized. Anyone with half a brain cell or any boxing sense can see he's shot to pieces, hell was beyond washed 20 years ago. I must be the only one that doesn't see real power or snap in his shots, he doesn't even turn is shots over properly anymore.

    Paul on points

If he KO's old Mike he should hang his head in shame. It's actually a real test of his character. I don't think either of the Paulo bro's are what they are made out to be. Egotistical to a higher degree sure but bad people I don't think so. If he brutalizes an old man for his ego then it shows he's a nasty piece of work.

That's the thing, they are programmed but nowadays he's just trying to imitate those moves, his glorified pad man won't have a clue what it all means and why. Tyson is just going off muscle memory, going off a script, trouble is he doesn't know how to cope off script.

Watching the Netflix special and Mike says he has been "more intensified" in his training. That's awesome. Right up there with "Spinal" and "Bolivian" Go Mike!!!

This fight is a shame, sham, and money grab.....but I have Netflix so I'll watch it for the slow motion train crash aspect of it all. They got me!! Gotta give it to them, they are doing a good job of garnering interest.
