Michael Gomez - "Ill Knock Khan Out"

i can only envisage an early stoppage win for khan, as for thaxton he would stop him early also.

 

Totally agree, but at this stage in their respective careers Thaxton has that bit more left.

Basically if Khan is going anywhere he should not be fighting Michael Gomez, at this stage in Michaels career.

 

lol. Gomez always says he will knock out his opponent. Simply a part of the build up and hype, he knows like we all know he is just living off the past. He is over the hill and past it a long time ago, all a part of Warrens plan to make his Golden Boy look good.

 

I just thought of a reason why they might have picked Gomez,

I was watching Nate Campbell and there is no doubt that he can talk, a lot, and I haven't seen anyone try to get to Khan mentally like he would. We know Gomez is a nutcase and he'll be in Khan's face talking sh*t. If they think Khan needs to experience that, I could accept that reasoning at least a little bit for this fight happening.
...I don't know if anyone's mentioned that before.

The fight is still pointless though.

 

All this pre-fight talking ain't gonna help him in the ring.

I can't wait for this fight.

I'd love for Gomez to KO Khan but I can't see it happening unless Khan gets very careless in the early rounds.

 

i think khan will win this but gomez will definately make a fight of it for the first 4 rounds

 

Id like to see how Khan will react if Gomez gets right up in his face at the weigh-in hes never really had an opponent who can be quite intimidating.

 

i really hope that gomez ko's hype job brutally arthur style.
