This should be a great fight one thing is for sure this fight will end early. There willl be a k.o before the 6th gomez doesn't go for much further these days, but the question is who gets knocked out im going for a gomez win. any thoughts?
I reckon Johanneson will be too fresh for Gomez , just a little too much wear on Gomez for me and when it comes to a war(which this is guaranteed) that'll often make the difference . I wouldn't write Gomez off completely though .
50/50 fight. Johanneson can't deal with pressure well and he has only fought one fighter with any kind of power and got KO'ed both times. Gomez seems to be serious about his comeback and his chin is much better than Carl's. It should be a good brawl and I'll be shocked if it goes over 5 rounds.
Great fight , Johanneson stopped Gomez in 6 . As I thought it was Johanneson's freshness in comparrison to Gomez that seemed to be the difference . Gomez seemed to run out of gas after a good start , and although he kept coming he was getting hit more and more and his legs started to go a bit and look very heavy . Johanneson put him down with a straight right in the 6th and after Gomez got up Johanneson landed two more and Micky Vann waved it off(good decision imo) . Contender for fight of the year for me , real back and forth stuff early on and even when Johanneson started to take over Gomez kept coming till he was stopped .
pretty close to my prediction great fight always get your moneyworth with MICHAEL gomez. if this fight was on a vegas undercard it would have been a brilliant starter for a main event.
