    I think he may still have potential, and I am anxious to see how he looks, and how he does, against Billy Zumbrun.


    Zumbrun is not really a full blown tomato can, but he's not too good, either. Good choice for Grant to gauge where he is.

    Grant would have been fine.....but he was no where near ready nor never would be for Lennox. His management was AWFUL.

    Mmm, I don't know about that...I think his actual path to the title shot was pretty well planned. Couple years of journeymen, then the more experienced but over-the-hill guys, then the gatekeepers and contenders. It was laid out pretty good.

    The problem I think is his lack of experience. He only had 12 amateur bouts.
    When he stepped in the ring with Lewis he was going off just 6 year's worth of experience. Lewis had near to 20.

    In terms of how he managed to develop and the people he beat with such small experience, Grant is very underrated. But he did reach a plateau, and unfortunately hit his head hard on the glass ceiling.
