Grant's name has come up as a soft touch for Lennox Lewis and in hindsight he proved to be so,but I wonder how he would have done against four of Wlads defences?
    Leapai

    Pianetta

    Wach

    Mormeck

Double post please use other one.

For awhile Grant played the illusion well, even believing it himself. He obviously got to a certain level by about 1999 and was indeed dangerous enough for the ranking. He wasn't a "soft touch" per se. He wasn't a roll-over. He could be tricked into mistakes and disassembled. Even then he showed heart. I think Golota made him carry doubts. Lewis ate him up but at the same time 2000, IMO, we saw the very best of what Lennox had become as a tiger and sharp-shooter.

Oddly, just last night I watched Adamek/Grant. Of course Grant was no longer a contender and Adamek seemed to have his way with him as Grant plodded around after him presenting targets. Watching it, I wondered what happened, why he was never turned around and rebuilt. Lennox Lewis and Wladimir Klitschko are proof positive that Humpty Dumpty could be put back together again.

Grant would be 4-0 against that lot. The over-rating of Wlad has become limitless. A timid, chinny clutch merchant reigning over the most feeble bunch of heavies we will ever see. Frank Bruno would be ruling the roost against the opposition Klitschko has picked the bones of.

Definitely beats Leapai and Mormeck. I can't even remember how Pianetta fights. Wach would be a live underdog. He has good enough power and stamina to possibly get to Grant late (or early if grant comes out cold).
