Grant is old & very past-prime, but he KO's Shot Botha in the mid-rounds.

Maybe the winner can fight David Tua for the fighters that missed their chance championship.

I hope they both cripple each other so we don't have to see them embarrass themselves anymore.

Michael Grant has not embarressed himself or the sport since crumbling to Lewis 10 years ago. He's been KOd by hard punchers like a surging(dedicated) Guinn, and broke his leg against a raw heavy hitter McCline. But he gave a good account of himself against Adamek, Marinaccio, and beat a formidable Robert Davis on his first comeback trail after those early losses.
The guy has some decent wins on his resume...Demitrice King might have a sub 500 record, but it aint due to his lack of talent, but moreso his level of competition. He's a veritable contender magnet.

If I was Grants people, I would seek an Adamek rematch, a Guinn rematch and then a shot at the HW title, either of the K2, or even Potvetkin.

He's hung around and stayed active and fit, and seems to have overcome his early chin issues. While I wouldn't take him to beat a K2, I could see him finding a way to win vs Potvetkin, and possibly fight on well into his 40s seeing as he is so fit and active.

Longer it goes, the more I favour Grant.

Botha's a crafty old dog, craftier than Grant, but his conditioning isn't so hot even at his best these days. He'll be want to close the distance and get that roundhouse right in, while Grant will look to lurk on the outside and pick his counter punches for his own big right.

No idea how many rounds it'll be set for. I'll say Grant TKO8.
