    I'm a strong believer Joe Louis was the greatest heavyweight of all time, and with some space to spare towards the ones beneath him. Still, you'd have to place them in their time.

    I wouldn't be suprised at all if a guy like Grant, who didn't live up to the hype, would have a chance to beat Louis. A guy like Bear was just very big and strong for his time, but his defence was very flawed and he didn't seem to know how to use his huge size, weight and reach to full extent.
