yourneymans are different. Some from them never had more than 1 k purse, fights also for 500 bucks etc. Some are getting more than 20-25k. Depends from ranking, background, who they had fought. Usually unformally journemans are divided in some categories. 1. journeymans who had winning streaks and previously held some titles, maybe national, continental level pro titles, etc. Now they are on decline, accumulated lost fights in record. They might have wiki page and previously had fought in some events relatively well represented in media. Part of them still does have not so bad positions in rankings. 2. then there is kind of journemans who might win, might lost fight, not rarity that they might capture some lower tier titles, then lost them, then this again might be repeated. These are like test. 3. journeyman who had competed in games, had medals in ams at continental, world level in ams: does have wiki page ( usually ). 4. journemans who are fighting with boxing bags and bums in A side and with studs on B side. 5. lowest end are these with 0-5, 0-10, 0-15 , even 0-20 and might be 0-25 pro fights records. 6. yournemans who come in to fight, are not very good, still not bad boxers. Might provide upsets, might loss via stoppage relatively early. Passive fighters: concerned on defense, usually does have 0 or just few lost fights via stoppage. doesn't stop opponents cos they are too much about their defense. Fight vs such kind of them usually ends with win on cards. Interesting thing is that sometimes looks that some journeymans are booked most likely to rack your fighter's recognition in google search. I'm not joking. Sometimes this is painful and serious fans does knows that he is wreck now. I know one case when prospect's fans were angry because for prospect had been booked " old " over the hill fighter to fight with. Some prospect's fans even told him that this fight is insult to real boxing, opponent is over the hill out of shape boxing bag. Reason to book him looks that was only one: he in his peak had challenged for world title very big name in boxing. A lot search results in google if his name is typed etc. Nothing wrong that everyone x years does knows that now this fighter is done completely. Surname matters.
You just do have too big chip on shoulder. Btw if about thread theme, I do not have any intent to watch or listen what Hunter thinks about boxing. I never will bother about his opinions or social media content.
I know all these guys are roiding my problem is who is getting the pass to take PEDs? and who is having to play chemistry to get by just using a little bit? i'm of the belief some of these "champs" have the golden ticket to abuse much more than others.
Or will be at some point in their career. When I played JV football dudes was on roids. The more abuse your body takes the more likely you are to take it. Guys say it makes them feel invincible. I wish this board would have a more serious talk about steroid usage even outside of broadcast sports.
****'s crazy... I've met a lot of non athletes who take roids or SARMS just to look swole. I actually looked into it at one point and was shocked at how casually people accept the consequences (gyno, shrunken junk, roid rage, heart/kidney/liver probs, TRT for life if you go hard enough).
I wonder what motivated Ellerbe to get a kick into a fighter as retire? Why be so sly & cowardly to try & smear them , common knowledge or not,why bother? I hope it backfires on the clingy parasite that he is , I doubt Floyd needs any of this crap brought up just as Povetkin didn't. Low class bejewled Court Jester...
It's the mental health aspect that's overlooked a lot until a tragedy happens. After years of abuse these people need a system to help them overcome the withdrawal. A lot of suicides even before the physical health gets them. Ronnie Coleman and Arnold Schwarzenegger have heart problems. Bet you couldn't tell them **** 30 years ago.
