Easy win for Hunter. Hrgovic is trash. If Hrgovic can not get Hunter out of there, he's in deep trouble. Hunter will win the jab battle and he's much quicker, more fluid and has better footwork.

Not sure how people can say Hunter is overrated lmfao. Insane. Hunter is a Top 10 HW. And he fought some really good opponents. You all are acting like he got some hype for beating bums - like Hrgovic did. LOL. Well, some should watch some more boxing instead of reading this forum and creating some weird opinions like "XYZ is overrated in here". If somebody is overrated, it's Hrgovic.

I've always said that Stylistically I'd favor Hrgovic to win a UD. Its just not a good style match up for Hunter. His outboxing will be thwarted by Hrgovic's leaning back and his size and reach. But I've also said that we still haven't seen enough from Hrgovic. It could end up being that Hrgovic might have coordination trouble against Hunter and Hunter might actually pull off a UD.

In the other thread on this topic I said that I leaned toward Hrgovic. Hunter has been more tested but, as some have posted above, Filip will use his size advantage well. A mild upset is not out of the question given Hunter's overall skill set.

If Filip loses he's young enough to rebound and chalk it up as a learning experience. If he wins, more so if wins by T/KO, Hrgovic will be close to a title shot.

 

Hunter is a very good fighter, but I still think that Hrgovic will win if his defense doesn't fail him...

 

Really depends on Hrgovic.... I wasn't really impressed with his fight against Molina. But let's see....

I would predict a close decision for Hrgovic. If we don't see the best of Hrgovic, I won't be surprised if this becomes a draw.

 

How you can tell this stuff? Hrgovic is not tested vs any one fighter from TOP 15 yet.
Will see how good or bad he is if he will have some 2 fights with lads from TOP15.

I ofc a bit surprised why he already is ranked so highly, looks that his promoter and matchmaking advisors are excellent in their job.

If he will handle some 2 boxers from TOP 6- TOP 15, then might start to think about higher ranked opponents.

I think exactly his CW version was seriously underrated, he then was younger, more mobile and fresh.
Okey, he had to fight vs Usyk's prime version for WBO World Title and all CW division top had been stacked up with really legit elite boxers. Additionally to this fact, these boxers were not out of prime.
Basically in short, he had in CW the same curse like Povetkin had in HW because Pov was small and his prime was in era with Klit brothers reign.

 

I think they both get a touch overrated but what can you do with the division as it is? Gotta hype somebody.

Chose Hunter thinking speed could make the difference but I'm not sure at all, very even and I think it's the right fight at the right time, wouldn't write off the loser or annoint the winner HW heir apparent.

I know Hunter is for real. Flip is a question mark. I know he can bang but his defense looks leaky as heck to me.

I expect Hunter to test Flip even if he loses. This is a huge step up for the Flipster.
