Not particularly sold on the cumbersome oafish kuzmin. That said from what iv seen briefly since joining, hunter jr is getting seriously overrated on this forum. Loses to any of the top 7/8 more than comfortably. Nice skills but lazy with his movement and to easy to hit

Name the top 7 which have significantly better movement and aren't easy to hit.

Back to the drawing board obviously. Would be a big hit to his career but I don't think it would completely derail it. He would probably take some time off and rack a quick succession of wins off and be back in the mix again.

Hunter is pretty old to do that.

But I don't think it will happen. Hunter should blow through Kuzmin.

31 isn't that old for a HW. If he took an L now it would take him 1-2 years to get back on track of all went well. Like I said a major blow but not necessary the end of the road.

lol only to loop back to the drawing board again once he steps up.

He ain't built for the big boys, we'll confirm that soon enough.

He's stepping up against Kuzmin. If he gets past him he'll probably have done enough to challenge for a title. If he comes up short against any of the belt holders it's even less of a climb back up. He's a legit contender.

Well, we all have our opinions I suppose, I just personally believe someone like Rivas would eat Hunter for breakfast, and only gain 50 calories.

Usyk beat Hunter with ease.
• Date: 2017-04-08
• Location: MGM National Harbor, Oxon Hill, Maryland, USA
• Referee: Bill Clancy
• Judge: Lynne Carter 117-110
• Judge: Dave Braslow 117-110
• Judge: Jamie Garayua 117-110
• Usyk, who retained WBO world cruiserweight title, was credited with a knockdown of Hunter in 12th and final round, confirming the points win.

Kuzmin vs Hunter is an interesting match. Hunter can win, if he's okay with getting hit. Kuzman is a sticky spot. He can punch and take a punch. He has some skills. This means Wilder and Fury won't fight him. Too much risk, too little reward.

Hunter isn't a top 20 heavyweight.

Hunter is so overrated lately on this forum...just wow. Kuzmin was unimpressive in his last couple of fights and might lose this time for real but it has nothing to do with Hunter.

I agree that Hunter is a tad overrated on here but I still back him to win a comfortable decision here. I don't mind Hunter though as he always seems willing to take on any fight.
