I agree with this but would count against Tyson that his prime was so brief it could be better measured in months than years. Any other time than a 18-month window (maybe two years at a stretch) and Lewis beats Tyson. But in that brief prime, I think Tyson gets him out of there. But even then he only has 5-6 rounds to do it...

    Agreed.

Yeah he did have a brief prime but what a destructive force he was during it. Lewis' size advantage, skill and own right power would always pose him problems though.

Hunter seemed a little fat for me. He needa to work on his stamina. He has the chance to look great if he is committed.

Haven’t seen the fight and never picked anyone to win....not sure what you mean by told you so. I said I’m not terribly impressed by Hunter and I didn’t make a pick.

That said congrats on the successful pick bruh.

Lol at people liking this post....some real weirdos on this site. We were having a disagreement regarding Hunters talent level and no pick was made, heck I’ve never even seen Bakole fight before.

Yeah to be fair I asked for a pick you never gave me one so your right you never picked one. However it made me a nice bit of money coz I wasn’t sold on Bakole, and I actually think Hunter is a very good prospect, he is fearless, he takes risks and the kid has dog in him.

Youre just mad that Hunter won, deep down inside acrimony builds, and your fake affable attributes slowly fade away with every typed word.

    :deal:

    You suck

Yes, time hasn't been kind to Tyson with hardcore fans, I actually think casuals have a better understanding of him than educated fans that sometimes look too deep in to fighters. Tyson imo for a short time was probably the most dangerous h2h heavy ever and at his true best could beat anyone ever too. The majority on here should be able to see that, but they just look at his loses and don't look at the bigger picture, im afraid you have to with Tyson as his personal life was a mess and it effected his career blatantly(all his own fault, bar the ****, im not convinced). He wasn't just an intimidating bully, that was just how he fought, he had chin, speed, power, toughness and pure savagery. I think he might stop a fav of mine in Holy both at their best too. I have a hard time seeing Holy break Tysons will at their best, I think Holy gets stopped trying

Fair play to hunter, he fought well. I think he leaves himself wide open though and his balance footwork resembles someone that's been staggered or hurt when hes not, he can be all over the shop. Glad he won, seems a nice fella

Yep I said the same about Hunter, he has skills and that was enough to overcome the bigger Bakole.

Agreed. I think Tyson is both overrated and underrated. Overrated in the sense, and I was guilty of this too, of thinking he was so formidable and destructive that he was literally unbeatable which of course no human being is. And underrated in the sense that over time many have forgotten what a force of nature he was during his prime. As you say, he had brutal power, really fast hands, a very good chin, and he was just an absolute savage in between in those ropes.

I think this video perfectly captures the pure savagery of a prime Tyson

Why would I be mad Hunter won? I have no qualms surrounding his victory, it’s good hear my brother was successful. I find it strange that my non conformity regarding Hunters potential has evolved to me being a fraud.

You're stretching here but I’m far from surprised. You have to understand I don’t come on this site because it’s a platform for me to vent out and spew out my societal frustrations and insecurities by belittling fighters with backgrounds that differ from my own. Self loathing narcissists like yourself will always say I suck.

Making money is always a positive, good stuff sir. I never made a pic because I didn’t have enough info behind Bakole.

It’s all good, to be fair Bakole was being hyped by a lot of people because of sparring rumours more so than anything he did in his pro career. He hits hard, he punches very crisply but I think he is only good for 4-5 rounds if you make him work hard than he wants to he will wilt. Check out the fight if you can it was an excellent heavyweight clash.
