A hungry hunter is the best hunter and Hunter's no longer as hungry as he used to be. Maybe and hopefully more fighters will be more willing to face him now after this loss
I seem to recall it was Hearn who cut him loose. It seemed odd that match room let him go at the time. But who knows, maybe some behind the scenes stuff went on. Then throw in Covid-19 around that time. I do recall Hearn looking mightily disappointed that he drew with Povetkin. I think that was meant to be the big chance, and Hunter fluffed his lines. Hunter then got a bit screwed over because he wasn't attached to a big promoter. Case in point Hearn and Saurrland tried to screw him over on a fight against Hrgovic. Basically bringing him to lose. So he went a different direction and signed with Triller. That was when things started falling apart, as that obviously black listed him for a lot of promoters and he spent most of his time fighting absolute jobbers. Shame really as I recall he was within touching distance of a title shot through the WBA and IBF (I think)
