I'll indulge the OP, I feel Jennings would take this by decision. jennings is technically much better, and far quicker aswell. However Gomez is much tougher and carries the bigger punch. Whatever longer distance the fight would be made for(8/10/12 rounds) the better it would suit Gomez as it would give him longer to get the ko. However even over 12 rounds I'd fancy Jennings to win a decision, but probably with a few scares along the way.
Jennings is faster but I don't think he's the better technical boxer, he really only throws two punches, the jab and straight, plus he's not very active in terms of workrate. He's beaten only regional competition, and that competition has been able to put hands on him, so despite Jennings' speed advantage, I think Gomez would probably keep him on the defensive with pressure, work him to the body, and stop him late. It isn't going to happen though.
