I finally finished reading the authorized Michael Spinks Biography, Michael "Jinx" Spinks. There were a bunch of details about specific fights in his career that was news to me. I got a little sad reading that so many of his opponents have passed that I had not known about. I knew that Michael was totally loyal to Leon but I did not realize that he was even more loyal to Butch Lewis. Even though it seemed that Lewis took a a lot of money from him, Michael wouldn't have it any other way. He reasons that he never would have achieved all that he did without Butch Lewis helping him all the way. I'm glad that Michael Spinks is doing well in present day. I prefer One Punch From the Promised Land about the Spinks brothers. That was a really well researched book.
